Sixflags is a name known worldwide in the amusement industry, and can be found on popular video games such as Roller Coaster Tycoon 2.
Sixflags properties offer entertainment for varied interests. The parks are popular with those looking for hair-raising thrills, but also for families with young children. There are children’s areas in most of the parks with age-appropriate attractions, as well as water parks which are widely popular in the warmer months and can draw large crowds. In addition to normal daily admission, Sixflags theme parks offer season passes good for multiple locations, making it a popular choice for families and theme park enthusiasts.
In 2008 Six Flags announced a deal with China to bring the Sixflag brand into the Chinese market. This would add a fourth country to the company’s existing parks in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
