Six Flags Unofficial Guide

New for 2011 at Six Flags San Antonio:  coming summer 2011 is a new fireworks and laser light show titled Lone Star Nights.  The park's theater also will be producing a new show but little details are known at this time.

Six Flags San Antonio, also known as Fiesta Texas, consists of two parks  - a theme park and a water park (White Water Bay).  Six Flags San Antonio is located 15 minutes outside of downtown San Antonio, making it convenient to many visitors of the area.

Six Flags San Antonio consists of attractions divided into six themed areas: Los Festivalis, Crackaxle Canyon, Spassburg, Rockville, Fiesta Bay Boardwalk, and Kidzopolis.  There are currently 8 roller coasters in the park labeled as "Max" thrills:

Season Passes are available for both Fiesta Texas and White Water Bay and are the most economical choice for those who plan to visit the park multiple times per season.  For pricing information see Six Flags Season Pass.

Tickets: General admission is available at the gate, however it should be noted that buying your ticket in advance online saves a significant amount over gate pricing.  There is an additional fee for parking.  You can also opt to buy a Flash Pass (starting at $35) which allows for priority entry to many rides, thus shortening your time standing in lines.  For general admission ticket pricing see SixFlags parks and info.
