Located in Darien, New York (near Buffalo), Six Flags Darien Lake was sold to Parc Management in 2006 and is no longer associated with Six Flags Inc.  The theme park now operates under the name of Darien Lake.

What started out as a local campground and picnic spot in the 1970's gradually became a modern-day theme park, with roller coasters, concerts, and a waterpark.  The park has been under different managements through the decades but still remains a local favorite.  Some of the top attractions include a launch coaster added in 2008 and a laser light and fireworks show.

Darien Lake operates seasonally due to the cool NY climate, opening in May and closing for the season in October.
